while the location was just fine, I was absolutely appalled by the abruptness of the staff. who needs a fan in 100+ degree weather anyway? and why on earth didn’t I get a complimentary upgrade? a poor excuse for hospitality that really could've been tolerable, except it just wasn’t. what a letdown!

The spacious suite was adorned with lovely, warm decor that felt more like a cozy home than a hotel, making it inviting of all ages.
A ceiling fan for better airflow would be nice.

It was just an appropriate option for a short weekend trip in Bordeaux with good value for price. The spacious suite had great kitchen facilities, which made it easy to enjoy our own meals. Check-in could be smoother, so try arriving at non-peak hours.

charming, charming, charming
The spacious suite had a lovely big window that filled the room with amazing light! The warm and welcoming staff made me feel right at home, especially meeting Gile who shared so much about the local culture. Close by, the Halles Bacalan was a food lover's paradise, with pop-up vendors serving delicious dishes from around the world!
would recommend ❤️😊

The check-in process was a real mess. arriving after hours meant fumbling with a code for entry, and retrieving the room key from a chaotic locker system. Although the room had decent space, it was marred by glass shards on the floor and an unfortunate lack of sound insulation—Friday night concerts had the bass booming into our suite, disrupting any chance of sleep. The toilet was cramped, the fridge froze our food, and the Wi-Fi cut out, requiring a bit of tech-savvy to reset it. the room had its charm but was let down by cleanliness issues and noise.

Air conditioning would greatly enhance comfort during summer.

Perfect spot for exploring!
Loved the cozy vibe of our suite! Easy access to public transport and just a short stroll from the quay. Enjoyed some local eats at the Halles Bacalan, what a treat! Only thing was the Wi-Fi could be a bit spotty sometimes. it felt like home away from home. 😊
